We are looking for someone who has worked in the sales field and is passionate about taking that knowledge of people and applying it to creation of sales processes and systems here at Spectrum. Ultimately, Sales Operations manager is responsible for ensuring sales leadership has a clear pulse on sales operations, maintaining accurate records, ensuring Salesforce processes are operational, and communicating timely insights into sales & marketing activities, all by combining passion for process and killer sales instincts! Responsibilities

Sales Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on the following:

  • Provide sales management & strategy support to the Director of Sales, VP of Sales, and CEO
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales and sales support process improvement
  • Team with our Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to provide operational support and drive efficiency/repeatability throughout the sales cycle
  • Take lead in using our Salesforce data to provide our sales, marketing and leadership teams with actionable data
  • Establish and deliver marketing and sales reports, including dashboards and analyses of campaign performance, conversions, attribution, and effectiveness
  • Identify how to improve the integrity of our data, build dashboards, and optimize reporting to ensure sales leadership has a clear pulse on the business
  • Analyze and communicate weekly and monthly sales progress against OKRs and KPIs and provide areas for improvement to sales and operations leadership
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administration, including configuration changes to Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboard, and reports
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding to document and establish processes and workflows based on our requirements

Required Skills and Experience

On top of the many intangible skills you bring to the table, there are many skills that can help improve the efficiencies and success of your work at Spectrum. Here are a few of those required skills and experience that you will come in with as a Sales Operations Manager at Spectrum:

  • A bachelor’s degree/pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, psychology, analytics, engineering or a related field
  • Experience in conducting sales calls, interviews, or presentations
  • Understanding of CRM management and structural setup, preferably with Salesforce
  • Experience/aptitude for solving problems based on consultative conversations
  • Experience auditing data sets, and implementing data analysis instruction
  • Aptitude and interest in writing, including but not limited to sales script outlining, and detailed writing
  • Understanding of data visualization platforms, ideally reporting systems in CRM platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Interest and ability to automate complex workflows via tools such as Zapier and other if, then, then type programs
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and systems
